Eppich Grain will continue to market grain between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. When exchanges are closed, after 11:20am, we will continue to quotes prices and purchase grain but may need to take some market protection since there is no way to hedge grain purchases when exchanges are closed. Keep in mind the best time to call and market your grain is when the exchanges are open, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 11:15am. If you have any questions or would like to market your grain you can reach Skyler Eppich on his mobile phone (509)318-4404 at any time.

**Please know that we will continue to quote a NET price while most of our competitors’ quote a GROSS price.
They then subtract $2.86 per ton (.08 cents per bushel) “handling” charge from their website posted price.**

*If you plan on delivering your wheat to the river call for a price*

DTN Crops News
Friday, August 16, 2019 11:45AM CDT
After digging into yield potential in 10 states, the DTN/Progressive Farmer 2019 Digital Yield Tour, powered by Gro Intelligence, wrapped up by forecasting a national average corn yield of 163.2 bpa and a soybean yield of 44.2 bpa, both below USDA's August estimates of 169.5 bpa and 48.5 bpa respectively.

Thursday, August 15, 2019 3:15PM CDT
Gro Intelligence's corn yield estimates in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio diverge drastically from USDA, ranging from 21 to 28 bushels per acre lower, while soybean yields range from 3 to 7 bpa lower.

Wednesday, August 14, 2019 4:38PM CDT
Corn and soybean yields are running significantly below 2018 levels, particularly in Iowa, where Gro Intelligence forecasts average corn yield will drop by nearly 10 bushels this year.
